CryoSurgery
is a process in which very cold instrument or substance is applied to the skin to treat
certain skin diseases or disorders. The temperature depends on the method employed to
treat such diseases like CO2 delivers the temperature of only –82oC whereas liquid
nitrogen (LN2) freezes to –196oC. This extreme low temperature destroys the skin diseases and
certain mucous membrane disorders thereby curing it.
It is particularly useful in the treatment of the following skin diseases.
